Estelle Julia Mueller

MUELLER Estelle Julia (nee Foppiani), 88, of Fair Lawn, NJ on Saturday, December 29, 2007. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Hunter College in 1938 and later earned a BA in education from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. Mrs. Mueller was a member of the Navy Waves (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) and served during World War II. She was also a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock, NJ. Prior to retiring, she was a mathematics teacher with the Borough of Glen Rock Board of Education for twenty years. Beloved wife of the late Edward Mueller. Loving and devoted mother of Michael Mueller of El Cerrito, CA, Gabriel Mueller of Fair Lawn, NJ and Edward L. Mueller of Lafayette, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Julia, Christopher, Taylor and Madison. Dear sister of Virginia Savina of Palm Beach, FL. A funeral mass is planned for Saturday, January 5, 2008, 11 AM at St. Catharine R.C. Church, 905 South Maple Avenue, Glen Rock, NJ. Cremation private.
