Ethel Platt Obituary

PLATT
Ethel C. (Neil), age 82, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011. Born in Paterson, she resided in West Milford for most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt.
Beloved mother of Sandra Mantione and husband Russell of West Milford, Paula Link and husband John, and Barbara Miller both of Florida, Fred P. Platt Jr. and wife Joanne of Wayne, and Kenneth Platt and wife Edith of Virginia. Sister of Charles Neil of Riverdale, Alice Thompson of Florida and June Meehan of Forked River. Wife of Fred P. Platt Sr. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visiting hours Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Funeral liturgy Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt. Final disposition is private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Foundation Fighting Blindness, P.O. Box for donations #17279, Baltimore, MD 21298-9581 would be appreciated.

We are very saddened by the passing of Ethel and know the difficult time you are enduring but always remember the great memories...please know you are in our every thought and prayer. Ethel was truly part of our family.
