Ferdinand Colonna Obituary

COLONNA
Ferdinand, of Kinnelon, formerly of Randolph, died at his home on Monday April 13, 2015, he was 68 years old. Mr. Colonna was born in Paterson and lived in Little Falls and Randolph before moving to Kinnelon 2 years ago. Freddy worked for the Goodrich Corp, formerly Simmonds Precision, in Cedar Knolls, NJ, as an electrical testing engineer for over 30 years. He attended St. Peter's College and graduated from RCA Institute, both in NYC.. He was a member of Roxbury Gun Club, the North Jersey Gun Club in Fairfield, and the NRA. He was a Vietnam era veteran having served in the US Army. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Mariano (Mario) DiLuccia, and is survived by his son and daughter, Anthony and Stefanie Colonna, his beloved sisters, Virginia Della Torre and her husband Michael, Gina DiLuccia, his loving nieces and nephews, Gina, Michael III, Nicholas, Christopher, Alexandra and his devoted grand nephews and neice, Johnny, Sofia and Nicholas Mariano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Thursday April 16, at 9 AM from the Madison Memorial Home 159 Main St. Madison with a funeral mass at 10 AM at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visitation Wednesday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the ALS Foundation or the Wounded Warriors Project in his memory would be appreciated.
