2023 was a year that brought a good deal of reflection and with my life growing up in Ridgewood, NJ. After attending my 50 th RHS reunion and visiting my brother, Web, for Christmas, Mr. Gomez and his Family certainly come to the surface for me. His activism, as a high school football coach and founder of the Ridgewood Ski Club indirectly rescued many of us floundering to belong in a competitive world as Ridgewood. Life certainly would not have had that special life raft of support for my Family. So grateful... as we enter 2024. Thank you to the Gomez Family. Sincerely, Gayle Allard

To the Gomez Family,
Very sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Gomez from RHS, (Class of '68). He brought innovation and vision to RHS sports and academia. Always respected and well liked by students and faculty. RIP, Mr. Gomez. God Bless you and family.
