Devoted father of Brian F. of Ridgefield Park, NJ, Christine Murphy of Pittsburgh, PA, Dennis J. and his wife, Wendy, of New York, NY, and Kevin R. and his wife, Suzanne of Colorado Springs, CO. Dear brother of Irene Schwerzler, of Michigan. Loving grandfather of Jason, Adam, Tiffany, and Katie. Mr. Murphy was a WWII Army Veteran, and a Past President of Cliffside Park Lion's Club. Funeral from McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at 12 Noon. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Church of the Epiphany, Cliffside Park, at 1 PM. Cremation is private. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 are from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
