Frank Massanova Obituary
Born in Italy, he came to the U.S. and settled in Jersey City in 1962. He then resided in Paterson before moving to North Haledon over 30 years ago. A member of St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Hawthorne, he worked as a barber in Pompton Lakes for 50 years.
He was the husband of Eva; father of Gennaro Massanova of North Haledon and Maria Gencarelli and her husband, Mario, of North Haledon; grandfather of two; brother of Antonio Massanova and his wife, Lidia, of Italy; and brother-in-law of Fiore Barbaro and his wife, Angela, of Hawthorne, Rosa Moschetta of Hawthorne, Tony Cammarota and his wife, Carmela, of North Haledon, Bill Cammarota and his wife, Lena, of North Haledon, and Jerry Cammarota of Hawthorne.
Funeral was Oct. 19 at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne, with intombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Arrangements by Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne.
Memorial donations can be made to John Theuer Cancer Center, Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack.
