Gail Keastead Obituary
Gail T. (Laderman) Keastead, 74, of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018. Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, she resided in Fair Lawn for 60 years. She was a faithful member of Van Riper-Ellis-Broadway Baptist Church in Fair Lawn and a member of the Fair Lawn Seniors. An avid bowler, Gail also enjoyed camping and photography and especially spending time with family.
Mrs. Keastead was a secretary with The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and a telephone operator with Dr. Jack Cappitelli in Fair Lawn for many years.
Beloved wife of Ernest F. Keastead, Jr. Loving and devoted mother of Scott Keastead and wife Konnie, Robin H. Craft and Ricky D. Keastead and wife Jennifer. Cherished grandmother of Schuyler J. Berdan, III, Mikayla Keastead, Patrick Keastead, Henry Craft and Charlotte Keastead. Dear sister of Jacqueline Lelesi and husband Jules.
The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, June 28, 2018, 6-8 pm at Van Riper-Ellis-Broadway Baptist Church, 7-01 River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. A funeral service is planned for Friday, June 29, 2018, 11 am at the church. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gail to Van Riper-Ellis-Broadway Baptist Church would be appreciated. Arrangements are being handled by Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home in Fair Lawn, 201-797-3500, www.vpfairlawn.com.
