George FLORIS Obituary
George, 41, of Clifton, passed away suddenly on April 8, 2015 from complications of minor surgery. Visitation will be on Monday, April 13 from 5-8 PM at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, April 14 at 10:30 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com.
George was a lifelong resident of Clifton. He was a dedicated Shoprite employee for 10 years, most recently the manager of the seafood department in Nutley. In his spare time, he was a major NJ Devils hockey fan - he had season tickets every year and treasured the time he spent with his son at the games.
Predeceased by his mother, Louise Floris (Valentini) and uncle, Ronald Valentini, he is survived by his father, Savas Floris; his son, Sava; siblings, Angela Smith (Steven); Lorraine Mora (Robert), Mary Valentini, Robert (Marcy) Valentini, Ricky Valentini, Kiriako Floris (Theodora); niece and nephews, Josh, Alexandra, Adrian, and Evan; and estranged wife, Heather Floris (Hutter);
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.

Dear George,
We will miss you tremendously. Louise and Savas raised you to be such a kind gentleman and friend to all. This was demonstrated by all the people who came to the wake. You touched their hearts with your kindness. Your son Savas is a testimony to how well you raised him. Take care of mom in heaven. Love, Cousin Donna
