Harold Scholer Obituary
Harold G., Sr., age 87, of Bloomingdale died Sunday, January 10, 2016. Mr. Scholer was born in Haledon, NJ the son of the late Carl and the late Sarah (Von Atzingen) Scholer. He served in the Navy from 1948 to 1953 during Peace Time. He was Chief Lineman for PSE&G Clifton, NJ before he retired. Harold was an avid hunter who loved sports. He is survived by his beloved children, Harold G. Scholer Jr. and wife Mary Ellen, Michael Scholer and wife Karen Molinari-Scholer and Tracy Scholer, seven cherished grandchildren, Jason, Niccole, Heather, Alyssa, Michael, Enrique and Mackenzie and three adored great grandchildren, Dominic, Kennedy and Jack Harold. Harold was pre deceased by his devoted wife Alice. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be Thursday 11 AM also at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ. www.themorrisonfuneral.com

Hal was a good person. I was the next door neighbor of his son, Michael Scott Scholer, and have known Hal for the past 23 years. I will miss the times when he would come to his son's home and help him with any project- mostly electrical ones. I will miss him.
