Jack Pohlman Obituary
Pohlman, Jack age 58 of Totowa at rest in Hackensack on May 2, 2017. Beloved husband of the former Tina Cascella of Totowa. Loving father of Jake, Jack, Nic and Mia, all of Totowa. Dear son of the late William P. and the late Blanche (nee Wright) Pohlman. Caring brother of William "Piggy" Pohlman & his wife Lina and Todd Pohman & his wife Renee, all of Totowa. Dear brother in law of Lisa Cascella of Totowa. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident of Totowa. Jack was a Water Superintendent for the Boro of Essex Fells, for the past 36 years and received the honor of Water Operator of the Year. He was a member of the Totowa Boro Planning Board. He was a Passaic Valley High School Wrestling Coach and ran the Junior Program. He was a coach for the Totowa Tigers Football League and was a member of the Essex Fells Volunteer Fire Company. He was a member of the Totowa Boro Republican Club, and a bartender at Murph's Liquors, Totowa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church Paterson at 9:30 AM. Committal at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel, Paterson. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the John Theurer Cancer Center, 92 2nd Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.

Gone too soon like many from PVHS Class of 1977. My prayers to the family that one day that may have some solace from the memories of a great man. I've known Jack since kindergarten and he will be missed by many. RIP my friend.
