BOGDANOFF James, 47. With great sorrow, family and friends announce the passing of our beloved Jamie, of Old Tappan, NJ and Monterey, MA on February 29, 2008. Jamie represented all that is good in this life. He was born and raised in New York City, graduated from Friends Seminary in 1978 and earned a bachelors degree from Clark University in 1982. Shortly after graduation, he began his television news career with ABC, followed by producing jobs with King World, Fox, and Lifetime. Since 2003, he has been a senior producer for "Good Morning America." Everywhere he went, he was adored by those who worked for or with him. He was a rare gem in a crazy business, who will be forever remembered for his infectious smile, fun loving personality, commitment to his family, obsession with sports, and passion for fishing. Jamie was a loving husband to Robin Messing, adoring dad to Phoebe, devoted uncle to Justin and Russell Romano, James Sui and Sofia Mia Canale, and beloved son of Phyllis. Services were held Sunday morning at Riverside Chapel.
