James Quinn Obituary
Quinn, James A. Age 88 of Wanaque on Sunday January 7, 2018. He was born in New York City and lived in Ridgewood and Maryland before moving to Wanaque six years ago. He was an electrical engineer for Singer-Kearfott in Little Falls retiring in 1985. Jim was a graduate of Manhattan College in New York and received a Master's Degree from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Haskell, Boy Scout Leader at Mt. Carmel in Ridgewood for over twenty five years, he earned the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Beloved husband of Katherine T. (Buchanan) Quinn of Wanaque, loving father of Jim Quinn and his wife Helen of Morris Twp., Ed Quinn and his wife Michele of Mountainside, N.J., Carol Quinn- Herzog and her husband Mitch of Lodi, Peggy Devlin and her husband Tim of Conn. and the late Trisha Quinn-Janosek. Dear brother of Donald Quinn of Summit and his late wife Catherine and the late Joan Martin and her husband Jim of Delaware. Grandfather of Jacki, Lauren, Evan, Shane, Ryan, Missy, Katie, Daniel, Andrew, Jeff and Quinn. Funeral from the D'Agostino Funeral Home 881 Ringwood Avenue, Haskell on Wednesday 9am for a 9:30 am mass at St. Francis R. C. Church, Haskell. Interment at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visiting on Tuesday 2-4pm and 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers donation gifts can be made to the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 415 South St. Morristown, NJ 07960

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me".
