Jay Gordon

Jay Gordon, age 60, unexpectedly passed away in his home in Saddle River, New Jersey on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Jay was born on May 8, 1957 to Conrad Gordon and the late Rosalind Gartner in Brooklyn, New York. Jay graduated from Midwood High School in 1974 and the University at Albany-State University of New York in 1978. In his first year at SUNY Albany, Jay met the love of his life, Eva. Jay proceeded to attend the Boston University School of Law where he was valedictorian of the class of 1981. After practicing law for a number of years, Jay became an entrepreneur and created his own business. Through all these accomplishments, Jay always "worked to live" and valued shared experiences with his family above all else. Jay lived his life to the fullest and made friends everywhere he went. He loved traveling, hiking, skiing, a good red wine, and a steak dinner. Jay was passionate about all kinds of music from Beethoven to the Grateful Dead and Madonna. He loved to attend concerts, shows and sporting events. He is survived by his wife, Eva; four beloved children, Elizabeth (Jeremy Giese), Philip (Sara Sternberg), Katie-May (Daniel Davidson), and Kevin; granddaughter, Charlotte; father and stepmother, Conrad and Carol; brothers, Adam and Greg; and many nieces and nephews.
