Jeffrey LIEBMAN Obituary

LIEBMAN
Jeffrey Seth, 61 of Wayne and Sparta, NJ, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014.
Jeff was born to the late Max and Shirley Liebman in New York, NY. He graduated from Fair Lawn High School before attending The Ohio State University and graduated with a BA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In 1980 he married Michele Canger and they raised two sons, Adam and Josh.
Jeff worked most of his adult life at Altria Corporation, and enjoyed a short retirement before returning to work at L3 Communications as the Director of State Tax and loved his job everyday he worked. Jeff was the life of the party and could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed traveling, sports, classic rock and loved nothing more than spending time with his wife and kids. His sons were his proudest achievement and his strongest legacy.
Jeff is survived by his wife Michele, Wayne, NJ, who he was happily married to for 34 years; his two sons: Adam, 24 of Boston, Massachusetts, attending Northeastern University Graduate program for Sports Leadership and Management; and Josh, 20 of New York, NY, attending New York University for a BM in Music Technology; the family dog, Sampson, who Jeff adored as a third son; He was also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Arthur Foosaner, Indio, CA; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steven and Robin Canger, Pompton Lakes, NJ; his mother-in-law, Jean Canger, Fair Lawn, NJ; his nephew, Drew; and his three nieces, Lauren, Michelle and Chelsea.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association in his memory.
Funeral Services will be 12 PM Friday, December 26th at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel w-150 Route 4 Paramus.Sschoem's.com
Jeff will be dearly missed, but we know he is enjoying his own Stairway to Heaven.

Jeff was a kind, sweet man who I only knew for a short time but who I will remember forever. One of my last memories of Jeff was of him saying something nice about me to someone who was dear to me. I will always remember that. I will miss him very much.
