Joan Cronin Obituary
Joan F. (nee Flynn), of Ridgewood, died Christmas Day. Beloved wife of the late Jay Cronin, who predeceased her in 1995. Loving mother of Kerry and husband Steve Mills, Neil and wife Valorie Cronin, Kristin Cronin, daughter-in-law Rosemary, and the late John, who predeceased her in 2004. Adoring grandmother of Siobhan, Maeve, and Hannah Mae Cronin. Devoted sister of Elizabeth Slabacheski. Joan was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood, where she was a member of the Parish Council, Rosary Altar Society, the Fr. English Food Ministry, and the Stewardship Committee. She was an avid Boston College Eagles, Boston Red Sox, and the New York Giants fan. The Funeral Mass was Friday December 30, 2011, 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, with interment in Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood. Arrangements by Feeney Home, Ridgewood. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sr. Lucy Fund, 1 Passaic St., Ridgewood NJ 07450 would be appreciated.
