Joan Keizer Obituary
Joan A. (nee Raymond) Keizer, age 90 of Woodcliff Lake, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2017. Born in Nyack, NY, Joan had lived in North Haledon for most of her life. Joan was a devoted member of Abundant Life Reformed Church in Wyckoff. Joan was the beloved and adored mother of Garret Keizer and his wife Kathleen, and Henry Keizer and his wife Wendy. Dear grandmother of John Keizer and his wife Jennifer, Sarah Keizer-Friend and her husband Ethan, and Jason Keizer. Dearest great-grandmother of Emily Keizer. Joan is also survived by her nephew Edward Schoonmaker and his wife Claudia, and her niece Florence Ide, as well as many great nieces and nephews. Joan Keizer was the beloved wife for 65 years of John Keizer who predeceased her in 2012. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
