BUCHANAN - JoAnn of Englewood, NJ, died peacefully on June 5, 2002 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. JoAnn was born on December 17, 1954 in Albany, NY, to Catherine (Winbush) and LT Buchanan (Deceased). She was a beloved mother to daughters Syreeta, Jenele and son Leo. Loving grandmother to Ashley and Andrew. Special godmother to Nadia Ibrahim of Albany NY. Dear sister to Cathy of Chester Springs, PA, CathyAnn of Humble, TX, and Laura of Houston, TX, sister-in-law to John Watkins and survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and other friends and relatives. JoAnn furthered her education at S.U.N.Y., Stonybrook, NY, in their nursing program, finishing up the S.E.T.A. program at Albany Medical Center, NY. She gave 17 years of hard work and dedicated service to helping others as an L.P.N. at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. A 23-year resident of Englewood, NJ. She will be memorialized on Friday, June7, 2002, 6 PM at Community Baptist Church, 224 First St., Englewood, NJ, 07631, (201)569-6369, Lester Taylor Jr., Sr. Pastor, where she was a faithful member.
