John Calderio Obituary
Garfield - age 71, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on May 29, 2021. He was a Draftsman working for Automatic Switch Company in Florham Park for many years before retiring and previously worked for Universal Metal Chain Company in Clifton. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield, and a former member of the Clifton Jaycee's. He is predeceased by his parents, Lucille (nee Martino) and Joseph, and a brother, Joseph. He is survived by two brothers, Edward and Michael, and several cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Visiting Thursday 3 to 7 pm. The funeral is Friday, June 4, 2021, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations for the Center for Food Action, Saddle Brook. The Calderio family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
