To the Furey Family,
Always enjoyed my conversations with John stretching over many years from when I was transferred to then old Forgery Squad on February 6, 1971 in 400 Broome Street. John was assigned next door in Room 401 with Sgts. Ed Baccaglini and Joe Bausano and brother DEA Board Member Jim O'Hara in the old Chief of Detectives Inspection Unit. Jim Kelly was the then DEA President. After the 1970's re-organization and my unit's move to 1 PP, our contact was almost daily in SID until I retired in 1982. The we saw each other on my occasional visits to Thomas Street. RIP.

Dear Aunt Veronica, Margaret, Philip, John and extended family. All of the Mullanes want to extend our love, prayers and sympathy to you. Your home was my home away from home growing up and I have so many happy memories of my uncle John and his infectious laugh. At the top of a long list of many fun times are being together in Ocean Beach, playing games of pick up basketball in River Edge, and watching the NY Rangers beat those hated Boston Bruins. John was a great husband, father and truly one of "NY's Finest".
Love,
Dave Mullane (Rye, NY)
