John W. Jr. "Jack" of Cresskill on August 31, 2014. Beloved husband of Vilma V. (nee Virla). Devoted father of John III and his wife Antonella, Andrew and his friend Carol. Predeceased by his parents, John Sr. and Beatrice. Loving grandpa of Julianna and Cristina. Dear brother of Janice Hook. John was the former President of the Cresskill Board of Health and a member for over 35 years , a Trustee of the Cresskill Congregational Church, a member of the Palisades Power Squadron, a US Air Force veteran and owner of Scofield Pharmacy in Cresskill for many years. Visitation at the Barrett Funeral Home, 148 Dean Dr., Tenafly on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to:
