Joseph Cairoli Obituary
Joseph Louis, 97 years old, died at home in Hardyston Twp., NJ on Thursday, March 29, 2012. Born to Ambrose and Julia Cairoli in West Hoboken, NJ, he had lived in Haledon, NJ for many years before moving to Hardyston Twp., NJ 11 years ago.
Mr. Cairoli worked as a carpenter for Garden State Farms in Hawthorne, NJ for many years before retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Hardyston Twp., NJ, Franklin and Church of the Good Shepherd Senior Citizens. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Wantage Twp., NJ and volunteered at the church's soup kitchen and food pantry as well as being an avid fisherman.
Mr. Cairoli was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Cairoli(nee Botbyl)(1980) and was the devoted father of Carole Lavalle of Hardyston Twp., NJ, Lois Guidone of Ringwood, NJ and Janice Olsen of Wantage Twp., NJ. Dear sister of Elsie Offner of CA. Cherished by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 9 AM. Funeral service will be at Church of The Good Shepherd, Wantage Twp., NJ on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ.
