Joseph Frost Obituary
Joseph Louis, 108, of Clifton, NJ passed away Monday January 7th, at Daughters of Miriam Nursing Home.
He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Second World War, serving in Guam until the War ended. He enlisted in 1942 there he was assigned to the Dental Unit.
After the War he joined his brother in the family business "Frost Market" on Van Houten Ave, in the Athena Section of Clifton. Manufacturers of food products and sales. He retired in 1992.
He was a member of the Clifton Jewish Center He was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, in Clifton. He was honored on his 107th birthday by the city of Clifton, the Mayor and City Council; he was given a proclamation and Key to the City. He was the oldest know person in the city of Clifton.
He never married, but has many nieces and nephews. He was one of eight children.
Services at Jewish Memorial Chapel, 841 Allwood rd. Clifton, NJ on Thursday January 10th at 12 Noon.
