Joseph Gorga Obituary
GORGA
Joseph, 90, of Brick, passed on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Paterson, lived in Fair Lawn, summered in Brick since 1981 he retired to Brick in 1994.
Joe was a Vice President for Zenith Dyeing & Finishing Corporation, Paterson. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, he was sunk by a German U Boat and spent 14 days on a life raft and was awarded the Purple Heart.
He is predeceased by his wife Margaret who passed in 2007. He is survived by his daughter Barbara and her husband Eugene Berry, his sons Joseph and his wife Carolyn and Lawrence. His grandchildren Allison, Adam, Caroline, Joseph and Ella Margaret, and four great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be Thursday 9 AM-12 PM at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd, Toms River. Funeral Services Thursday 12 noon at the Funeral Home, entombment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
