Joseph Melei

MELEI Joseph, on July 24, 2011 of North Bergen, age 83. Joseph was born on February 23, 1928 in Italy and came to the United States in 1933. He was an Army Veteran and retired supervisor for N.J. Bell Telephone Co. in Union City and a self employed electrician. Beloved husband to the late Mary (nee Tafuni) (2008). Devoted father to Victoria DiFiore and her husband Michael, Judith Portieles, and the late Phyllis Melei (1980). Dear brother to Pauline Melei, Virginia Manzi, Frances Lupico, Theresa Mack and Anthony Melei. Adored grandfather to Michael DiFiore, the late Joseph DiFiore (2010), Phyllis Portieles and Luke Portieles. Cherished great-grandfather to Brielle Stein. Funeral from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, NJ on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 9 AM, thence to Our Lady of Fatima R.C, Church in North Bergen where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 AM.
