Joseph G. Weitekamp

WEITEKAMP Joseph G., age 81 of Englewood died August 13, 2008 in Cresskill after a long illness. Born in Brooklyn NY to Frank and Margaret Weitekamp in 1927, Joe's life encompassed service in the US Navy, a Captain with the FDNY and an Art Therapist at Booth Memorial Hospital in Queens. He was also a 12-step mentor to many and was a lover of art, music, golf and his Catholic faith. Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Lefevere; his devoted son Joseph and his wife Rosanna, loving grandchildren, Monica and Joseph and his brother Daniel. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews. He is also mourned by Katelijne and Damon Broglie-Lefevere. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; son Thomas and brothers Frank, Leo, Larry and Raymond and sisters Mary O'Gara and Joan Murphy.
