Kevin Shoop Obituary
SHOOP, Kevin, 27, of Teaneck passed away on Saturday June 3rd, 2017. Beloved son of Barbara and Charles Shoop. Cherished grandson of Gene and Dolores Biscottini and the late Charles and Lorraine Shoop. Dear sibling of Lindsey, predeceased by his brother Richard. He will always be remembered as a loving son and brother, and by his captivating wit and sense of humor.
A Memorial Visitation will be on Thursday 5-8pm at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck.
A Memorial Mass will be Friday 10am at St. Anastasia's Church, Teaneck. ALL TO MEET AT CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to the Shatter Proof Foundation, shatterproof.org; in order to raise drug abuse awareness and help those suffering from the disease.

I knew Kevin and I loved his outgoing and funny personality. He was very quick-witted and he was very nice to me. When I heard of his passing I was completely devastated because I literally just talked to him on Facebook months ago. We just caught up a little bit. Asked how each other was doing and he seemed to be very happy. I really haven't been able to stop thinking about him since I saw the devastating news on Facebook. I was with him for about 3 weeks in September of 2015 at the same place. He would always stand up and talk to us and just make jokes and he was very strong-willed and I really admire that about him and I even told him that. My heart is breaking for the family as well as for Kevin. You will be missed. You are missed. You'll forever be in our hearts...

I met Kevin in Florida when we were both there trying to fix our lives. He was one of the nicest, kindest and most persomable people I befriended. He was also quite the intellectual. I feel for the shoop family. You are not alone in this struggle. I know too many familys including my own who can relate. Those who focus on the next sunrise always come out on top. God bless. Keep it easy Kevin.
