Margaret McCann Obituary
Margaret (Peggie) 85, of Toms River, NJ. Formerly of Dumont passed away peacefully on March 20, 2016. Beloved wife of 62 years to John, Devoted Mother to her children Maureen McCann of Pearl River, NY., Cathleen (Phil) McCartin of Pearl River, NY., Michael(Sharon) McCann of Chester Township, NJ and Patricia (Joseph) Mayer of Haworth, NJ. Dearest Sister of Philip J. Clarke of Hollywood, Florida.
A great joy in Peggie's life were her cherished grandchildren, Philip (Amy), Colleen and Kevin McCartin, William and Matthew Mayer and Mary Kathryn and Ryan McCann.
Peggie worked for 22 years at Hishon Agency in Dumont. Peggie was a devoted parishioner of St Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church in Toms River, NJ.
Visitation on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home 161 Washington Ave Dumont, NJ. 07628. Her Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am on Wednesday at Sacred Heart R. C. Church, 102 Park Street, Haworth, NJ. Burial will be private at Beverly National Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Center for Food Action, 192 West Demarest Ave. Englewood, NJ. 07631
