Marie Fadil

FADIL
Marie (nee Abboud), 95, of Clifton, passed away on October 8, 2015. She was born in Kousba, Lebanon on January 11, 1920 to the late Najib and Salima (Jabbour) Abboud. Marie worked for many years as a seamstress in the ILGWU of Pasasic. She was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Little Falls. Marie was the beloved wife of the late Elias Fadil. She was the treasured mother of Samia Zeitoun and her husband Antoine, Afife Aboushanab and her husband Joseph, Afief Fadil, Rachaad Fadil and his wife Francine and the late Sammy Fadil and his wife Valerie. She was the dear grandmother of John Zeitoun, Joseph Aboushanab and his wife Kendall, Jennifer Cichowski and her husband Cody, Richard Fadil and his wife Sandra and Anthony Fadil and his wife Ariane and the adored great-grandmother of Alex, Alyssa, Alivia, Logan and Austin Fadil, Henry, Bennett, and Pearl Cichowski, and Elias and Oliver Aboushanab. She was the dear sister of Afife Fadil, Souraya Fadil, George Abboud, Maurice Abboud and the late Abdallah and Afief Abboud and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-9PM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
