Mario TALAMINI Obituary
Mario "Murph", 93 of Clifton passed away on June 11, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (DaGiau) Talamini. Loving father of Gerald & his wife Barbara of Hewitt & Linda of Clifton. Grandfather of Krystal & Alexander
Mr. Talamini was born in Vodo di Cadore, Italy came to the US in 1930 settling in Garfield before moving to Clifton in 1946. He was owner & operator of New Jersey Laundry Machine in Clifton for 43 years.
Mr. Talamini served in the Army during World War II and was a former POW. He was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, a member of the DAV Post # 2, POW Chapter # 3, American Legion Post # 8, the Athenia Veteran's Post, the Regina Mundi Council # 3969 and the Alhambra Caravan # 55 all of Clifton.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at Saint Andrew the Apostle RC Church at10 AM . Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. www.maroccos.com
