Mark A. Pietro, 57, of Grandview-On-Hudson, NY, formerly of Old Tappan, NJ and Queens, NY, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 11, 2018. Cherished father of Deanna of NYC, Alicia of Old Tappan and Halle of Old Tappan. Loving brother of Susan Pietro of Colorado. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Gertrude.
Besides being a loving and devoted father to his three daughters, Mark was also an avid NY Rangers fan. He was a CEO in the telecommunications field before retiring and starting other business ventures.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11 AM at St. John's RC Church, Piermont, NY. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-9 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ (201-767-3050).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan NY, www.efmny.org, in Mark's memory would be greatly appreciated.

Mark was a wonderful guy. He loved his three daughters very much and always spoke so loving of them. He was very proud of each of them. He will be sorely missed . V K

I feel privileged to have known Mark across a few ventures. Mark was always able to light up a room, to make people laugh, and always looking to live his life fully.
One of Mark's greatest strength I feel was his ability to take complex processes and situations, and simplify everything with a no nonsense attitude. And at the end of the day, Mark would always talk about his daughters and certainly enjoy a good meal.
I will always remember your laughter.

A few years ago I had the good fortune of working with Mark on a telecom project that took us on travels across the U.S., Canada and the U.K.. Seldom have I ever enjoyed a better time on the road as we had throughout that time. Beyond his outrageous humor and laser guided pursuit of a good time, Mark was a valuable wealth of knowledge to us all and just a real pleasure to be with.
Hardly a day went by together that Mark did not tell me a story about one of his daughters - he was as proud and concerned a Dad as I ever knew. I know he will be greatly missed.
