Marleigh Siebecker Obituary

SIEBECKER
Marleigh (Moore), 78, of Ringwood, NJ passed away peacefully December 18, 2015, surrounded by her 3 beloved daughters. She was born on July 21, 1937 in Bronx, NY to the late Cyril and Bernadette Moore. She studied Interior Design and Theater at NYU. After marrying she became a devoted mother, active homemaker, McCall's editor, and interior designer. A 42 year resident of Ridgewood, NJ, she spread cheer and good taste as manager of Village Linen and Bath Shop in the center of town, and later was credit manager for Opici Wines. She enjoyed a 30 year career in Community Theater with many local groups, notably producing and directing Ridgewood Jamboree scholarship shows. She moved to Ringwood in 2005 with daughter Anne, and loved living there. She enriched the community wherever she lived with her outgoing nature and involvement in local activities. Marleigh loved laughing and learning, was quick-witted and full of energy. She was passionate about traveling, nature and playing games. She was a true force of nature and touched the lives of many with her encouragement, generosity and positivity. She is survived by daughters Anne, July (Michael Grosso) and Allison (David White), grandchildren Canyon and Toren Grosso-Siebecker, siblings Kingsbury and Elaine and many loving relatives and friends. A memorial celebration will be held Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00pm in the United Methodist Church's East Room in Ridgewood, NJ.
