Menas, of Fort Lee passed away on July 11, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee Morfogen). Devoted father of Harriet Ommundsen and her husband William R. Ommundsen Jr. Dear brother of Kay Vizoukis. Loving Papou of Phillip and Arianna. Great- grandfather of Gianna. Menas was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the President of Menas Karakiros Real Estate in Fort Lee, on the board of St. Spyridon Church in Washington Heights, NY, on the committee for the Epirus Chapter, NY and a member of St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Tenafly. Visitation at the Barrett Funeral Home 148 Dean Drive Tenafly on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service Saturday 10 AM at St John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment George Washington Memorial Park Paramus. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Villa Marie Claire 12 W. Saddle River Rd, Saddle River, NJ 07458 or to Walter Reid Army Medical Center 89014 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20889. For directions visit -
