Michael W, Demarest, age 52, of Hackensack, formerly of Little Ferry passed May 12, 2018. Michael was a self employed laborer. He was a gifted artist, multi talented musician and an avid fisherman.
Loving son to Michelynn Demarest (nee Grieco), predeceased by his father John Demarest. Loving brother of Linda-Scherf-Mann. Dear uncle of Nichole Simisgalli and Daniel Scherf.
Family will receive family and friends Wednesday 4-8pm at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral home 50 Main Street Ridgefield Park. A Religious Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Funeral Home Thursday 10am. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Vorheesingwersen.com

I will always love you forever.I hope you and my brother are together.As many may know I have been with Mike since we was kids.He sold his first set of drums to buy me a ring.I did say yes.as time passed he changed so we stayed friends for all his life.many say things but I only knew his love for life and loved his friends.We will be together again one day.

There are no words that can cover the amount sorrow we all are feeling right night. I am so SORRY!
Mike was the best of the best. He was not merely a cousin I got to grow up with. Mike was my friend, a protector when neighborhood boys picked on me, a clown to make me laugh when I was feeling bad ...more like a big brother. I can never forget him because I have so many wonderful memories to hold onto. I loved him and I love all of you so very much. I can not be there to tell you in person but my heart is there with you all. GOD BLESS XO
