SOLIMANDO, Michael A. of Montvale, passed away on September 27, 2017, at the age of 59. Michael, or 'Whitey' as he was known by friends and family, was raised in Emerson, where he grew up as one of six siblings. He was a jack of all trades he did a little bit of everything, including working as an HVAC Technician for forty years. Michael was a man of devout faith, an animal lover, and adored his cats. He was also an avid reader and loved music. Michael was a family man, what he cherished most in this world was spending time with his family.

Predeceased by his father Anthony Solimando and his brother Robert Solimando. He is survived by his beloved wife Dionne Archer. Devoted father of Jade Archer. Adored son of Eileen Solimando. Dear brother of Diane Durocher (Harold 'Lee'), Linda Molina (Jose), Lisa Bradley (Robert), and Frank 'Tony' Solimando. Michael has many cousins, he is the nephew of many aunts and uncles, as well as the uncle of many nieces and nephews. Michael was the life of the party and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday, October 2, at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Assumption 29 Jefferson Avenue in Emerson. Interment following at Westwood Cemetery in Westwood. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1st from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the William G. Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
