Patricia A. (nee De Long), 73, of Franklin Lakes passed away on July 1, 2013. Born in New York City she has lived in Franklin Lakes since 1972.
Pat was an active parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes, Pat was vice-president of Oasis A Haven for Women and Children in Paterson.
A Dame of Mary Help of Christian Academy in North Haledon. Pat was a member of the Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre and a volunteer at The Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa.
Beloved wife of 54 years to Bill McLaughlin of Franklin Lakes. Devoted mother of Michael McLaughlin and his wife Kate of Franklin Lakes, Kevin McLaughlin of Point Pleasant, Shalini McLaughlin of Franklin Lakes, Megan McLaughlin of Hawthorne and Maria Colon and her husband Alfonso of Oakland. Loving grandmother of Max, William, T.J. and A.J. Dear sister of Peggy Foley and her husband Tom of The Villages, Florida, Susette Engel and her husband James of Clifton Park, NY and Grace Collins and her husband John of Oakland and sister-in-law of Clement McLaughlin and his wife Roxanne, Robert McLaughlin and his wife Mary, Vincent McLaughlin and his wife Patty and Ann Marie Foffia and her husband Bob.
Funeral Services Saturday 10 AM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church.
Interment Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July 3rd from 3-8 PM and on Friday, July 5th from 3-8 PM at the funeral home.
