With deepest sympathy AND fond memories of a loving Uncle Pat.

Uncle Pat was full of love. Love of life, love of family. A zest that was displayed in large mannerisms... Blowing up the party balloons...,popping the party ballons.. with his cigarette at the end of the party..., Giving change to the "kids" so they could get ice cream from the Ice Cream Truck... Pulling you close to his side for a big squeeze... Having you stand there , enveloped in his enbrace as he sat at the tabel, with his arm around you teasing you, or talking to you if your play was too rambunctious or your voice too loud... And of course, the very important job of blowing out the match after lighting up of the cigarette, was a fun thing to do.
He, Aunt Terry and Susanne came down to visist once back in the '70's, and then again, Uncle Pat and Uncle Jimmy came down in , I believe, 1990 or '91 looking for an airplane for Uncle Jim to purchase. They had me as the navigator,by reading the map (and only getting turned around 2-3 times).
I remember Uncle Pat as a loving father and husband. I will miss him in this life, but I have eternal hope of Life Everlasting in Jesus Christ. So in this belief, I will see and be with Uncle Pat again. The Bible says in John 20:30 "Jesus' deciples saw him do many other miraculous signs beside the ones recorded in this book. But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life."
Love, Arlene
