Paul F. Corazza

CORAZZA Paul F., age 76, (Educator) passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at his home in Old Tappan where he lived for 44 years. Paul is survived by his wife Teresa ( Zoshak ) of 50 years, his children Douglas of Skillman, NJ and his wife Marie, grandchildren Nicole and Andrew, his daughter Donna Williams and her husband Donald, grandchildren Grace, Jack and Joseph of Lake Forest, Il. Also survived by a sister Jane Zwirek and family of Clifton, NJ and sister Betty of Freeland, PA. He is predeceased by his parents Ferdinand and Mary, brother Joseph, sisters Margaret and Anne. After graduation from Penn State University, Paul served in the US Navy as engineering officer from 1953 to 1956. His career in education spanned 33 years starting as a teacher in Bloomfield High School, Vice-Principal in Cresskill H.S., Principal and Superintendent in Manchester Regional H.S followed by Superintendent of Schools in Dumont, NJ untill retiring in 1989. His graduate degree is from Teachers College, Columbia University. He was a member of numerous professional organizations and served on various statewide national committies. Funeral from Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy at Church of St. Pius X, Old Tappan, NJ at 10 AM. The family will receive their friends on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Community Hospice of Bergen County, 105 Fairview Avenue, Westwood, NJ 07675 would be appreciated.
