Paul Valese Obituary
Vernon - Paul M. Valese, age 71 of Vernon, passed away on Friday, February 1st, 2019 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson.
Born in Newark to the late Anthony and Clara (Harrity) Valese, Paul had been a Vernon resident for many years. Active in his community, Paul was a former member of the Vernon Twp. Ambulance Squad and the McAfee Fire Dept.
Predeceased by his parents, Paul is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dorothy (Ahlstrom) Valese; brothers Anthony and wife Mary Jane of Sioux Falls, SD, Michael and Rose of Toms River, Steven and Marcia of Morris Plains, and Philip Valese of Lakewood; and sisters Mary Urbano and her husband James, and Rosemarie Bailey both of Freehold. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Paul will be held on Thursday, February 7th, 2019 from 4-8PM at the Ferguson - Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94 (1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ 07462. A service will take place at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SUNY Sullivan Nursing Program, 112 College Road, Loch Sheldrake, NY 12759.
