Phyllis S. Ganci

GANCI Phyllis S. (Scarlato), age 88, of Fair Lawn, NJ on Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Born in New York City and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in Fair Lawn for thirty-five years. A parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn, she was a member of the Rosary Society. An involved citizen of her community, she was a graduate of the Fair Lawn Citizens Police Academy, past commander and member of V.F.W. Post 281 Ladies Auxiliary and member of the Happy Seniors.Beloved wife of the late Joseph Ganci. Loving and devoted mother of Jerome Ganci, Diane Ganci, Brian Ganci and wife, Cindy, Lori Ganci and the late Russell Ganci. Cherished grandmother of Michael Ganci Muller. Dear sister of Ann Ortoloni and Grace Castoro. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.A funeral mass is planned for Monday, March 23, 2009, 9:30 AM at St. Anne R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ. Interment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
