Phyllis Reichert Obituary
Phyllis (née Sansone) Reichert, died peacefully on 1/7/18.
In 1929, Phyllis was born and raised in Hackensack, NJ to the late Bella and James Sansone. She made her own home in Ramsey, NJ, where she relished her community and fondly recalled great times with many friends and neighbors. Phyllis worked intermittently, but her true passions were fashion, interior design, and homemaking. In the mid-1990s, she retired to Hilton Head, SC. Several years ago, she and her sister became residents of Naples, FL.
Phyllis is survived by: her devoted daughter and son-in law Deborah (née Dobias) and A.J. Gorga, her beloved grandson Brad Forenza (Brian), her best buddy/sister Nancy Lemcke, as well as nieces, cousins, and extended family. Phyllis is pre-deceased by her husband, James C. Reichert, a career employee at Ford Motors in Mahwah, NJ. Her singular spirit, strength, and style will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Hello, I met Phyllis many years ago at the North American Model Engineering Society exposition, where she was selling her wonderful painted china while her husband exhbited his model engines. She taught a china painting lesson and it touched my heart and ignited a passion for China painting. I found a teacher and now do some teaching on my own. She was my inspiration and I think of her whenever I see my collection of her painted eggs.
