Richard Page Dunlap

Dunlap, Richard Page, age 83, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Born in Hackensack and raised in Paramus, Richard had been a resident of Glen Rock before moving to Toms River over 30 years ago. Richard managed the family business, Lift the Latch Restaurant in Paramus and retired as a toll collector for the Garden State Parkway. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, and a long time photographer for the Glen Rock Jr. football league. Richard was also a member of a bocce' ball team up until this past summer. He was an avid gardener and loved his dogs, the late Cleo, Lady, Woofer, Rebel and Buddy. Richard was the beloved husband of Lois Dunlap (nee D'Annunzio) for 56 years. Loving father of Donna Roberto and her husband, the late Joseph (2016), of Glen Rock, Jeff Dunlap of Glen Rock, Jill Mirrer and her husband David of Glen Rock, Kim Reynolds and her husband William of Toms River. Grandfather of Bill, Nicholas, Troy, Brooke, Jaclyn, and Megan. Cousin of Charles "Butch" Dunlap and his wife Debbie of East Branch, NY. Friends may visit with the family from 12-3PM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne. A funeral service will be held at 3PM.
