Richard Kretz Obituary
KRETZ
Richard W., 75, of Rochelle Park, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Before retiring Richard worked as an Ironworker for Summit Erectors Inc. in East Rutherford, NJ. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 560 in Union City, Ironworkers Union Local 483 in Paterson, Knights of Columbus 2842 in Rochelle Park and the Snipes Boat Club in Carlstadt. He was a Navy veteran who served our country proudly and a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Rochelle Park.
Dear husband of the late Marie (nee De Vincenzi) (2008). Beloved father of Melissa Cipriano and her husband Christopher of Mahwah and the late Mark Kretz (2012). Loving grandfather of Mathew and Ava. Beloved brother of Donald Kretz of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Arlene Kretz of Carlstadt.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113-S Farview Ave., Paramus. Funeral Service Monday, May 6, 2013 at 9:30 AM from the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Snipes Boat Club 254 Outwater Lane, Carlstadt, NJ 07072 or to the Diabetes Foundation, Inc., 13 Sunflower Ave., Paramus, NJ 07652.

I was so sorry to hear of Richie's passing, he was a great friend, a fellow boater on the Hackensack and a Brother Knight. He will be missed by all that knew him.
