Richard McDavit Obituary
Born in Newark, he was the son of John Wilson and Martha Ann McDavit, he lieved most of his adult life in West Milford before moving the Paramus a year-and-a-half ago. Before retiring, he was a supervisor for Jersey Central Power & Light, based in Riverdale.
Surviving is his son, Gregory John McDavit of Virginal, his sister Margurite M. Nafey of Ashland, WI, and a nephew Howard Tremper of Newton.
He was predeceased by his parents and wife Shirley in 2006.
The viewing occurred on Monday, June 25, at the Richards Funeral Home in West Milford. Internment in the Fairmount Cemetery in Tweksbury, NJ, followed. Donations to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 requested.
