I'll always remember how kind Rita was to my mom after my dad died. She'd been there and knew how isolated one can become. She always invited my mom along when she and her boyfriend Eddie would go out to dinner or a movie. They also traveled together and she always looked out for my mom and kept her safe when she started to suffer from dementia. Even in the worst of it, Rita came around regularly to look in and visit with her. She was an outstanding person.

Good afternoon. I knew Rita from the Williamstown Theatre Festival where I worked for a number of years and then reconnected with her down in FL. I had not seen or communicated with her in some time and today went onto Facebook to wish her a happy birthday. I read a remark by someone and it references her passing away. After a little investigation. I found this obituary. I am so sorry to learn of Rita's passing! She was a very nice woman and I enjoyed talking with her. May she Rest In Peace!
