Robert Broadfoot

BROADFOOT
Robert G., Sr., 85 of Bloomingdale, NJ. died peacefully at his home on February 12, 2015. Born in Ridgewood, Robert resided there for many years where he raised his family. He moved to his summer residence in Bloomingdale in 1987. Prior to retiring he was Owner of J.W. Broadfoot Co.
Robert was an avid hunter and loved traveling, opera and playing golf. He was a member of Ridgewood Country Club, The Hawthorne Lions Club and The Westside Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth (nee Campbell) Broadfoot in 2014.
Survivors include his beloved daughters, Catherine B. Steirman and husband Andrew of Hinesburg, VT. and Cynthia L. Broadfoot of Burlington, VT. He is also survived by his beloved sons, Robert G. Broadfoot, Jr. and wife Carole of Lake Placid, Andrew C. Broadfoot and wife Eva of Clifton and Scott A. Broadfoot of Bloomingdale. There are 5 adoring grandchildren, Libby, Joshua, Jesse, Caitlin and Christopher surviving and one dear great-grandchild Addison surviving.
Funeral services will be private for the family only. (A Celebration of Robert's life will be scheduled for June 2015.) Private interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ.
