Hello,
I was an early friend of Bob's at Clemson. We called him Pendo. I was feeling nostalgic today and started looking at some old friendships. I was shocked and saddened to read about Pendo. Taken so soon. I always knew that he would have a successful life and share it with great family.
That's all. Best to all of Bob's loved ones.

Dear Suzanne, Andrew, Brennan and the Pendergast family,
We are deeply saddened and our hearts reach out to you at this sudden and unexpected loss of our good friend. I knew Bob for the last 17 years and experienced his unique and passionate approach to his business and family. In business, Bob literally dragged the rest of us along with him in attaining the best result and often made one feel the “magic” of the Bob experience. His greatest joy was talking about Suzanne and the boys. Whether it was a milestone in sports or education, or simply relaying the latest vacation details, Bob had a twinkle in his eye as he told the stories about the family. Bob was a unique blend of the Irish storyteller , technology enthusiast and friend that simply wanted to make your experience ,and life itself , memorable with a special dash of Bobby style.
Our prayers are with you all,
The Mathiesons

I have known Bob for a little over 4 years now. We worked business together between Dubai and New York. Bob was always the most professional and dedicated individual in everything he did. He spoke warm and loving of his family on his frequent business trips to Dubai when we would meet. I know he leaves behind those wonderful people, as well as those he worked with at Access Risk, who loved him and will miss him dearly. I just wanted you all to know he touched me as well and I am so sorry for your loss.

Suzanne and family, I worked with Bob for many years. As I recall our association, I realize how fortunate I was to know him. He was more of a friend than a colleague. His integrity and sparkle improved the quality of my life. Bob's passing is so unexpected. I thought there were decades of more time to be with him. He so often talked of the family. I join you now in the mourning of this loss. Bob leaves a void, but it will be filled by all the good memories of his company and lessons learned from his wisdom.
With much symapthy, Catherine Whitney

Bob always treated me so well, it was such a pleasure working for him. I am stunned at his early passing and extend my heartfelt sympathy to Suzy, Andrew and Brennan. Bob could always light up a room and took things in stride. He was a kind boss who would go out of his way to do unexpected things for you. He was one of a kind. May God be with you at this time and in the days, weeks and months to come.

My son Ryan played baseball for one of the Pascack Colts teams with Brennan. I remember when I first met Bob how warm and welcoming he was. All the parents really liked and respected him. He was very dedicated to the team and made a huge contribution to all the boys as well as the parents. He was one of those special people that will never be forgotten.....that's the type of impression he left with me and I only knew him for a short time. My heart goes out to his family with my deepest sympathy. Harold and Lori Robbins
