Dear Nancy and family, Donny, Al, Smitty, Sandy and Mrs. Smith:

My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you remember Bobby and his wonderful and proud life.

Although I have not seen Bob in years, my memories of him are strong.

Perhaps what I remember most of Bob is his tremendous family devotion.

I remember his boat kept in Mrs. Gallager's yard and watching him clean it after every use. I remember riding bikes to his house when I was a young kid. I remember when he and Patty bought their home on Beech Street, just footsteps from his parents house. And I remember his strong sense of self and his years of committment to the Westwood Police and Fire Departments.

It's hard to believe that Bobby has passed. I know he suffered and I know he has found peace. I also know that today with his Dad, Gammie, Uncle Sam and those who have passed before.

Bobby's life and his passing have left a positive mark on me. I pray for your peace, your strength and that you may celebrate the joys of Bob's life, especially in this difficult time.

To my cousins and my Auntie Doris,

I want you to know my heart and love are with you all. I remember as we grew up, you with 4 boys, us with 4 girls, Bobby, Don, Al and Jimmy were like brothers to us. All the fun we had at Gammy's and the Lake and at your Mom's house. The parties, barbeques and Vermont and more recently dinners at Auntie Doris' when I was in town. I truly treasure all the fun, laughter and good times we always have when we get together.

My heart is with all of you at this time and I just wish I could be there with you to share the pain, sorrow and I'm sure some good stories with all of you.

Pat, you have been such a wonderful wife and you had a truly great husband. I want you to know that I truly love the Smith family and I am hurting so much for you right now. Bobby was a great father and son and I have always admired him. A fine man was taken from all of us before his time and I will miss him always. I just know he is out of his sick body and into a healthy body in a better place.

I love you all

Patrice

To the loving Smith Family:

I was very sad when mom called me last night to tell me about Bob. Although the memories I have of him are when I was just a little girl, they are very fond memories nonetheless. I pray for God's comfort for all of you right now, and know that my heart is with you all. I love you all very much.

Love, Nancy
