Robert Trotta Obituary
Robert J., Sr., "Bob," 59, of Manahawkin passed away peacefully on August 30, 2016.
Bob was born in Hoboken and raised in Cliffside Park. He moved to Ocean County in 1981; the same year he opened his family business, Bob's Carpet Service in Barnegat. He was a dedicated worker just like his dedication to being a loving and caring father. He enjoyed coaching his son's basketball and soccer teams throughout the years and attending numerous Giants games. Bob was an avid bowler and participant in the local traveling bowling league. He was a lifetime member and past President of the Ocean County Bowling Association. Bob was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Barnegat.
Predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Mary Trotta, Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Anna and sons, Christopher and Robert Jr. and his fiancé Amy Salib. Also surviving is his sister, Elaine Trotta, brothers Michael and Peter Trotta and his wife Denise, seven nieces and nephews and two great-nephews along with many family and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 2 PM until the time of the service at 4:30 pm at Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 335 South Main St., Barnegat, NJ 08005.
Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to St. Mary's R.C. Church, 747 West Bay Ave., Barnegat.

My husband Mike worked with/for Bob for many many many years and he is one of the best men we've been blessed to know and call friend, I went to school with his son Chris and we became good friends with Bob and Anna...we lost an amazing man however God gained an amazing angle.....He will be watching over all his family and friends.....RIP Bob you will forever be missed Love, Helen
