Ronald Hill Obituary
Ronald B., 81, of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011. Born in Dumont he resided in Fair Lawn since 1954. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fair Lawn where he served as deacon, head usher, and was a member of the choir. Ronald was a member of the Fair Lawn Live Wires. He served proudly in the United States Navy from 1947-1950. Ronald was a member of the Boy Scouts, and was the Fair Lawn Scout Master for Troops 45 and 60. He served as camp master for the NO-BE-BO-SCO located in Blairstown. He was member of the Vigil Honor Order of the Arrow Oratam Lodge 484 which is the highest honor achieved.
Prior to retiring, he was employed with the Battenfeld-Fisher Company as a Toolmaker for many years.
Beloved husband of Audrey (Demmer) Yannette Hill. Predeceased by his first wife Gladys (DeYoung) Hill. Cherished father of Ronald R. and wife Julia of Hawthorne NJ, Thomas and wife June of Independence NJ, Scott and wife Jacqueline of Ringwood NJ. Devoted step father of Donald and Marc Yannette and Joan Perretti. Loving grandfather of five and step grandfather of five. Dear brother of June Hill. Funeral service at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 22-15 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, November 22, 2011 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, 201-797-3500. In lieu of flowers donations to Our savior Lutheran Church, 22-15 Broadway ,Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.
