Ronald A., of Wallington, died on June 7th, 2012, he was 60. Ron was born in Passaic, NJ to Antoni and Helen (Orosz) Szot. He was raised in Wallington with his sister Elizabeth and attended Wallington High School, Class of 1969. Ron enjoyed computers and attended Bergen Community College to start a career in computer programming. As a programmer he worked for various companies including, Bremar Systems in Clifton; Fiat Motors in Montvale and ABC-TV in NYC. In 1986 Ron began working for Panasonic in Secaucus, NJ as a Project Manager of data processing within Logistics. After 17 years with Panasonic he was transferred to work on a new system and worked as an ERP specialist. He retired from Panasonic in 2004 after working there for over 18 years. Ron's departure allowed him to care for his ailing mother until her death. His hobby was computers and most important to him was spending quality time with his family, extended family and friends. Anyone who knew Ron knows just how generous and eager he was to help a friend. Ron was predeceased by his father Antoni in 1995, his sister Elizabeth Salzano in 2003, and his mother Helen in 2005. Ron is survived by his beloved nephew Ronald Salzano and his wife Katie Salzano and their son Ronald Jr. Visiting Sunday, June 10th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ.
